It is fairly clean and tidy, and it’s fairly well maintained. The only complaints I would have about it is having to walk a greater distance across campus than other options, and a lack of parking. It is a great place to live. I have met a lot of people in the halls and have enjoyed the A/C and amenities Conklin has to offer. I like the location because it is near many academic buildings such as the library and other classrooms. It is definitely an upwards expense dorm, but is amazing. The opportunity to be in one is limited but that is due to Greek life (which I am in!!). Every common room is so amazingly taken care of and the air conditioning is great! You are not allowed to open your windows due to the air which really stinks, but it is normally a good temperature in there. The community in the greek village is also definitely something to write home about. The walls were thin and you could hear you roommates in the other room through the vent and but other that there was no issues. It was pretty easy to meet my neighbors especially in the first week. The bathrooms were a decent size and sow as the showers. I didn't have issues with water pressure or not having hot water. I had the opportunity to control the temperature in my room and I had not problems with that. I think as long as you know your roommate and you are able to become friends with them then you shouldn't. The staff that works in the building are very helpful and friendly.
